In 2003, Lars co-founded Sitecore, - a technology company that was later sold to an equity fund as one of Denmarks largest technology transactions.
After his departure from Sitecore in 2018, Lars turned into private investor. He has led a number of investments at Nordic Makers, nordicmakers.vc, - a group of people like himself investing both money and experience.
Lars is highly active in the boards where he sit, including nemlig.com, Whiteaway group, Seaborg Technologies, Contractbook.

In 2020 Mette founded The Impact Collective - a fixed syndicated of private investors focusing on purpose driven investments.
In 2021 Mette co-founded VÅR Ventures https://www.vaar.vc/ - an Article9 VC focusing on Food/Agriculture, Energy Innovation and Ed Tech.
Mette resides on several own investment boards, and aids the startup and scaleup ecosystem via pro-bono participation in boards and grant committees such as the E&Y entrepreneur of the Year - Future Impact competition and The Danish Foundation for Entrepreneurship
